The statistics filing counts both teams’ rounds on one specified map, including overtime. A completed match score alone does not provide that statistic.

What the primary record establishes

CFTC record 65543 lists PROPHX PGL Counter Strike 2 Major Championship Statistics Contracts as Certified on 20 October 2026. The attached filing describes contracts asking whether more than a stated half-round threshold is played on a specified map. CFTC product record 65543 — Championship Statistics Contracts ↗

Appendix A defines the total as both teams’ rounds in the official map score, including overtime. It expressly says a match score alone is insufficient for the primary source to have published the required map result. ProphetX — Championship Statistics Contracts, Appendix A ↗

What the distinction changes

For the filing’s referenced threshold of 21.5, a hypothetical 13–9 map has 22 rounds and exceeds the boundary. A hypothetical 13–8 map has 21 and does not. These are arithmetic examples, not reported tournament results.

Counting maps won would answer a different question. A data feed that reports only 2–0 or 2–1 at match level cannot reconstruct how many rounds were played on the selected map.

What to check before drawing a conclusion

WFN would retain the map number, official round score and source hierarchy. The terms separately address an unplayed or unfinished map and contain an exception where the outcome was already unequivocally determined by completed rounds.

The filing documents a settlement method for future events, not an observed result or a profitable opportunity. Missing map-level data should remain a verification issue rather than being replaced with a guess from the overall match outcome.
