The New York-based hedge fund investment firm is the latest to use NFT technology.
SkyBridge Capital's Anthony Scaramucci is launching an NFT platform called Flatter, the former White House communications director said at his SALT conference, Tuesday in New York.

According to a statement provided by CoinDesk, Flatter will combine NFT with "exclusive experiences," "sought-after collectibles" and philanthropy. The offerings will be "separate" from the hedge fund's alternative investment funds.

The first set to be sold at Flatter will be 140 bottles of "rare whiskey" decorated with Scaramucci's portrait, which was designed by French artist 8th Project and signed by the hedge fund executive and the artist. The bottles will be delivered with tickets to next year's SALT conference and dinner with 8th Project. A portion of the proceeds will go to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committees.
SALT is a stellar hedge fund conference founded by Scaramucci in 2009. It is usually held in Las Vegas, but this year it was moved to New York because of Covid-19. Organizers are expecting 2,300 participants. This year's SALT includes FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, Ray Dalio of Bridgewater, Paris Hilton and HR McMaster, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general and former national security adviser to the Trump administration.
Bottles of whiskey will be sold in three blocks: the first is 1 ETH, the second is 1.25 ETH, and the third is 1.5 ETH. Buyers can pay with U.S. dollars.

The second offering will be five lifetime SALT NFT tickets and access to a SkyBridge executive. NFT holders will have lifetime access and VIP treatment to all SALT conferences, including two tickets to the wine and coffee party with Scarmucci at the conference. They will also receive one "power breakfast" with Scaramucci and are invited to other SkyBridge events.
SALT NFT represents the conference logo on the salt shaker.

Later this month, Flatter will offer sports memorabilia sets on its platform.
