PayPal and Ripple client Flutterwave cut cross-border payment fees in Africa
PayPal giant and Ripple client Flutterwave are pushing international payments for African merchants and offering them big discounts.
Payment giant PayPal and RippleNet-based Flutterwave are cutting cross-border payment fees for African merchants in a promotion to encourage them to sell their goods and services in overseas markets. As part of the promotion, PayPal and Flutterwave are allowing participating merchants to receive $500 checks for free through PayPal.

Otherwise, merchants will be charged 4.4 percent plus $0.30 per transaction. This discount will be valid for 60 days, and merchants will not pay any fees for their first $500 international payments.
It was previously reported that the head of Ripple had filed a filing with Binance. There was also information that Ripple was announcing a new ODL corridor in Japan.
