Dentistry in Ontario prepares to accept cryptoassets
The Southdown Dental Clinic in Mississauga begins to offer its customers a new payment method. Soon, dental visitors will be able to pay for services received with digital assets. Representatives of Southdown Dental note that digital assets can be used to pay for any of the available procedures.
The dental clinic is entering the cryptocurrency world to cope with “a growing positive attitude towards cryptocurrency,” news.bitcoin reports. Her leadership notes the growth in the use of digital assets in various fields in Canada. In a press release, Dentistry notes the autonomy provided by cryptocurrencies to clients, reduced transaction fees, and faster and easier payments.
Dentistry in Ontario prepares to accept cryptoassets
The clinic has provided services to residents of Mississauga in Ontario since 1989. They pride themselves on being the “pioneers of innovation” in the dental field by using the latest technology to deliver the most effective customer care possible.
Center officials note that “with the growth in crypto asset adoption, Southdown Dental is delighted to be part of this movement and meet the increasing demand” of the nation for increased adoption of digital assets.
The center also noticed that not all patients can always pay for more expensive procedures, and therefore in these times they can decide to save their fiat money, and instead spend part of their crypto reserves.
Southdown Dental has long provided its customers with a variety of payment plans and payment methods as needed, which are now becoming even more numerous with the advent of crypto payments. The press release does not talk about specific cryptoassets that the clinic will support, but its co-owner Dr. surgical interventions.

And even if Southdown Dental isn't the first in the industry to go digital, it certainly is among the pioneers.
